Identified Future Growth Area

Es ist anerkannt, dass Einwanderer mit Qualifikationen und Erfahrungen auf bestimmten Fachgebieten Neuseelands Wirtschaft kurz- und langfristig fördern und zu Neuseelands Wachstum beitragen werden.

Neuseeland hat derzeit folgende Fachbereiche als "Future Growth Area" identifiziert:

* Biotechnology


* Information Communications Technology


* Creative industries (Advertising, Software & Computing Services, Publishing, TV and Radio, Film and Video, Architecture, Design, Designer Fashion, Music and Performing Arts, Visual Arts).

Bonuspunkte können in der Expression of Interest gelten gemacht werden, wenn entweder die Qualifikation, die Arbeitserfahrung oder das Joboffer auf einem dieser Gebiete liegen.

Allerdings ist Bedingung dafür, dass diese Bonuspunkte angerechnet werden, dass ein Joboffer bereits besteht.

Employment in an identified future growth area

1. As future growth areas are identified they will be listed in this provision. For the purposes of this policy, currently identified future growth areas are as follows:
* Biotechnology
* Information Communications Technology
* Creative industries (Advertising, Software & Computing Services, Publishing, TV and Radio, Film and Video, Architecture, Design, Designer Fashion, Music and Performing Arts, Visual Arts).

2. Skilled employment in one of the identified future growth areas set out above will only qualify for points if the principal applicant* provides confirmation from their employer, and an immigration or visa officer is satisfied, that their current employment or offer of employment is in one of those identified future growth areas.

Work experience in an identified future growth area

Recognised work experience in an identified future growth area qualifies for points if:

1. the principal applicant* has points for current skilled employment or an offer of skilled employment in an identified future growth area (see SM8.10); and
2. the experience is relevant to that employment (see SM7.10.5).

Evidence

Recognised work experience in an identified future growth area only qualifies for bonus points if the principal applicant* provides evidence that satisfies a visa or immigration officer that their work experience meets the requirements of SM13.10 above.

 

Qualifications in an identified future growth area

Recognised qualification(s) in an identified future growth area only qualify for points if:

1. the principal applicant* has points for current skilled employment or an offer of skilled employment in an identified future growth area (see SM8.10); and
2. the qualification is relevant to that employment (see SM16.10.1).

Relevance of qualification(s) to skilled employment in an identified future growth area

A recognised qualification is relevant to skilled employment in an area of identified future growth if a visa or immigration officer is satisfied that:

1. the major subject area of the recognised qualification is directly applicable to skilled employment in an identified future growth area that qualifies for points (see SM8.10); and
2. the skilled employment is in an occupation for which that qualification is a core requirement.

Evidence

Recognised qualifications in an identified future growth area only qualify for points if the principal applicant* provides evidence that satisfies a visa or immigration officer that the qualification(s) meets the requirements of SM16.10 and SM16.10.1 above.
